Our flagship product, HaveTap, serves as the perfect bridge between managing orders through social media DMs and instant messaging apps, and the complexity of full e-commerce websites.

We’re committed to providing you with exceptional value through all our Services, including HaveTap and any future products we may launch, and encourage you to fully explore our Services, including any free trial periods offered, before committing to a paid subscription. Please read this Refund Policy carefully as it applies to all CiptaBase PLT products and services.

1. Our General Refund Stance

Generally, all fees and charges paid to CiptaBase PLT for our Services, including but not limited to subscription fees (monthly or annual), one-time charges, and service upgrades, are non-refundable.

By subscribing to our Services, you acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing access to digital platforms and services, the benefits of which begin immediately upon successful payment and activation of your subscription or service.

2. Subscription Plans

CiptaBase PLT offers subscription-based services across our product portfolio, typically on a monthly or annual basis.

a. Monthly Subscriptions

Payments for monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel your monthly subscription, you will retain access to the relevant Service for the remainder of the already paid month, but you will not receive a refund for any partial month or unused features.

b. Annual Subscriptions

Payments for annual subscriptions are non-refundable once processed. Annual plans often come at a discounted rate, reflecting a longer-term commitment. We recommend ensuring the CiptaBase Service and the chosen annual plan meet your needs before subscribing, ideally by utilizing our free trial periods where available.

3. Free Trial Period

CiptaBase may offer free trial periods for new users to evaluate our Services.

a. No Charge During Trial

You will not be charged any subscription fees during the free trial period.

b. Payment Method for Trial

To activate a free trial, we may require you to provide valid payment card details (e.g., credit or debit card processed via our secure payment gateway, Xendit). This is for verification purposes and to facilitate a seamless transition to a paid subscription if you choose to continue.

c. Automatic Billing After Trial

Unless you cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting us before the end of the free trial period, your chosen payment method will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee for the plan you selected at the commencement of the trial.

d. Trial Duration and Access

The duration of free trials and the features accessible will be clearly communicated at the time of sign-up. Trial periods may vary across different CiptaBase products and services.

e. Cancellation During Trial

You may cancel your subscription at any time during the free trial period without incurring any charges.

4. Exceptions to No-Refund Policy

The only exceptions to our non-refundable policy are:

a. Verified Billing Errors

In the rare event of a billing error made by CiptaBase PLT or a duplicate charge for the same service period, please contact us at [email protected] within fourteen (14) days of the disputed charge appearing on your statement. If we verify a billing error on our part, we will issue a full or partial refund for the erroneous amount as appropriate.

b. Legally Mandated Refunds

Where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, particularly under Malaysian consumer protection regulations.

5. Payment Gateway Disputes

Since we use Xendit as our payment processor, any disputes regarding payment processing will be handled according to Xendit’s dispute resolution timeline and procedures. Refunds, where applicable under this policy, will be processed through Xendit’s platform and may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank and payment method. We follow Xendit’s standard processing capabilities for all refund-related transactions.

6. Custom Features or One-Time Services

Payments for any custom development, specialized onboarding, dedicated consultations, or other one-time services agreed upon separately are non-refundable once work has commenced or the service has been delivered, unless otherwise explicitly stated in a separate written agreement for those services.

7. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your CiptaBase subscription at any time through:

  • Your account settings on the relevant platform dashboard

Cancellation Effects:

  • Prevents future subscription charges
  • Does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of the current, already-paid billing cycle (monthly or annual)
  • You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing period

9. Changes to This Refund Policy

CiptaBase PLT reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time, at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our websites, with the “Effective Date” revised accordingly. We may also notify you of material changes via email or through our Services. Your continued use of any CiptaBase Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.

10. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, consistent with the Governing Law clause in our Terms of Use, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
